About the Breeder:
Champion Mickalady's Ladee Liberty has produced four lovely litters of Standard puppies of which, five of those puppies, are now being shown. Ladee is the matriarch of Mickalady's Manchesters. American and Canadian CH.Mickalady's Beulah of Tueri is successfully being shown in both the U.S. and Canada as is Mickalady's Ruby of Tueri. Beulah is owned by Joyce Ellis of Tueri Kennel in Lynden, Ontario and Ruby is coowned by Joyce and myself. I am currently campaigning Champion Mickalady's Hope U Dance(Gracie) and Mickalady's Kiss Me A Kate(Mia) who are 10 months old, along with Mickalady Hidden Hills Hannah who is owned by M.J.Goncher. Gracie and Mia are Ch. Vitog's Phantom Puppet and our Pecan's pups. Gracie is co-owned by Julia Graham and myself and Mia is co-owned by Joyce Brown and myself. Champion Mickalady's Ladee Liberty completed her championship at the American Manchester Terrier's Club, district 3 specialty on Sept.16, 2001 at the age of 5 1/2 yrs. She produced another daughter who is being shown, Mickalady's BP Ebonee Deelite who you can expect to see on the show circuit. She will make her daddy, CH Fantasy's BJ proud with her rich coloration and graceful gait. She will be accompanied by our latest addition Mickalady's BP Surfer of Vitog who was bred by Victor Toggart of San Jose, California. Surfer is now a Champion after getting three 5 point majors at the Peach Blossom Cluster in Perry, Georgia. Not only did he finish his championship but he also won the American Manchester Terrier Club's National Dog Show by going Best of Variety from the classes at age 13 months. We are very proud of him and the wonderful and talented Miss Michelle Barlak, his handler par excellence!! He is a gorgeous boy who will add much to our pride and bloodlines. He has become an exceptional animal who took his first point at the district 3 specialty show also.Both Surfer and Ebonee Deelite are coowned with me by Gayle Hall of Glen Easton, W.Va. I breed my standards for quality, beauty and brains.Ch. Mickalady's Pecan Tassee was to have begun her career in obedience this past summer but my hopes and my energy didn't cooperate and I never got started with her training. I do plan to get her started in the 2004 season. I love my animals and they are all homeraised litters with a written health guarantee. All health records accompany the puppies along with the litter registration applications at the time the puppies are ready to leave to their new homes. Puppies are not ready for a new home until they are at least 8 weeks of age and when they leave, I follow up on their placement and request their owners feel free to notify me of any problems they may or may not encounter at which time I assist in correcting them. I try very hard to educate my customers regarding proper care and the welfare of animals and supply them with much written materials. I also give some printed material regarding the history of the breed. All questions are accepted and answered, and dogs ONLY go to approved homes. I ask folks to promise to return my animals to me if ever there is some unforseen problem and the dog must be placed. References preferred. Visits are encouraged to familiarize clients with the breed by in-home viewing.
